This piece was inspired by my trip to Denver last year. While in Denver what stuck out to me most was the amount of authentic rustic interior decoration I saw in the shops and spaces in the area. In particular the wood, metal, fur, skulls and leather. One of my favorite go to decorations there was the intricately carved Ram skulls I saw up on the walls which gave me the idea for the line-work on this piece. Luckily enough, a few days before my trip my dad had given me an unworn vintage Marlboro denim jacket with a leather collar that he had found. A perfect match for the vibe I was going for!
